1/11 - Email that I passed the first round of exclusions and my app is going to committee at UC Berkeley, should know by 2/16. Mixed feelings, but its better than rejection.

1/12 - Just now receiving the completed email from Yale! Come on Yale, you're receipt email said everything should be complete 2 weeks after receipt. Get it together!

1/13 - Phone call in the middle of scanning documents from BU.. thought it was the Pre-law department at first! Yay!

1/14 - Northwestern!!!! yessss, go.. wait what is their mascot?

2/1 - Finally "rendered" by Georgetown.. getting very antsy these last 2 weeks... Now I'll be using sleepygirl's technique of checking their admitted students site to see if it will grant me a password!

2/4- Sleepygirl it worked! I also was checking to see if the Admitted Student's site would supply me with logins, and it finally did today after my Status went to Decision Monday. Hot damn! Of course I can't wait for USPS! After what I know about USPS from the work I do.. it's amazing anything gets delivered ever.. ..
OK.. got home and rec'd my letter.. that's a relief.. if it had been a mistake I would have choked on my own foot.

2/12 - Waitlisted at Columbia.. okay I guess sort of a dark horse for me that I added at the end..

2/15 - Decision at Michigan.. but what is it? waiting for the mail again.. PS what the heck happened to my Wash U application?

2/15 - OK scratch, the admitted students website allowed me to log in.. so that's probably a go!

2/15 again--okay there's my letter from Michigan. Wait no $$$!?! Personally offended.. lol, oh LSN how you have spoiled me with expectations.

2/18 - a friend attending Michigan just gave me terrible news: U .Chicago didn't get back to her with her acceptance until days before her Michigan summer start began! WTF?

2/18 - Wooooo Berkeley!

3/2 - Chicago finally started reviewing my app.... let the second circle begin...

3/10 - Alas, my first ding, from Chicago.

4/2-- Seriously, NYU? Seriously? It's one thing to not be getting back to me, but the fact that it's obvious you're not getting back to anybody? Are our applications tacked to a wall and you're throwing darts, and waiting till you use them all up?

4/21 -- Ahhh remember the good ol' days when it was UChicago I was so frustrated at because they were taking so long? Bittersweet reminisces compared with my tempestuous relationship with NYU now..

4/25 -- Why am I going to the school that didn't give me any money!?! Well.. b/c they're awesome, I guess. Actually they gave me a need-based grant, which I'm trying to find out what happens to over the 3 years, but I don't want to post it b/c that will probably just confuse things for anyone trying to understand their chances in the future. The cycle is complete! The final step to noodle enlightenment.
