Bama and UGA scholarships

Hi, It appears that you and I are in the same situation at UGA and Bama. Did Georgia come right out with their $$$$ offer or did you have to solicit it by showing them your Bama offer.

Unfortunately I didn't go to the admitted students day, but they did send me a T-shirt in the mail. Saved me from doing the laundry. I've heard that some law schools are pretty flexible about tuition equalization, but I'm not sure if Georgia is one of them. Good luck on that. Since my parents live in Georgia, UGA did give me the instate tuition rate if I choose to attend. That's practically a scholarship right there. However, also because of Alabama's full-tuition $$$ offer, Georgia did agree to give me $3k per year also. Right now I am about 90% sure I'll be a UGA unless W&L and George Mason make a serious $ offer, which I highly doubt they will. Anyway, good luck and if you end up in Athens and need somebody to show you around let me know. UGA is my UG alma mater.

Congratulations on all those great options! Sorry that I got to your question late. I am sure that you will enjoy your experience at U of Georgia! You were in Hungary teaching? I was next door in Romania! I am sure that it was a VERY rewarding experience for you. Best of luck!!!!
