how the heck did you get a 180 in the lsat? how long did you prepare for it?!

I am white

Degree in Comparative Literature. Not black - white. As far as the LSAT, I don't have any great advice. I did a bunch of practice tests, realized I needed work on the games, and did a bunch of games sections from past years. All from the books of 10 LSATs.

I'm not making it up. Class of '02 though.

Northwestern

It looks like NU waitlisted a lot of people. Disappointing, though, since I have the 2 years WE they want. Makes me worry about my other apps.

Relatively Similar

Our stats are close enough, and we are applying to a few of the same schools. Some of our sent dates overlap. I'm keeping an eye on your profile, feel free to check out mine. Good luck.

Where

is the trinity?

The trinity

Hardly seemed worth the donations, and there are geographical reasons as well. Which isn't to say I wouldn't go to Harvard. But my relatively weak desire to do so combined with the long odds of getting in kept me from applying.

UVA and UT
Monday, December 26 2005 at 07:00 PM

I think the waitlist isn't a bad thing for UVA. If you look at last years data, "power" got WL accepted with similar stats. Do you know anything about the UT status check? Does it ever change from complete? Is it worth checking?

keep the faith

I want to believe the next two weeks could be good ones.

UT Status
Monday, December 26 2005 at 07:00 PM

So, as it turns out, UT does post your status online. I checked yesterday AM, and there was no change, but by the end of the day it was updated. So I guess it is worth checking.

Congrats on GULC!

I seem to remember it fitting in well with your current situation...

Congrats on Columbia! Did they let you know in advance they'd be calling. Also, who did you speak with? Thanks.
