OSU would be a great school. I don't know if I would put it as my top school, (and it's a reach to get in) but being from Utah I am ready to get out. I used to live in Cincinnati and liked Ohio a lot. OSU is definately the best school in that area. It would rock to get in. Good Luck...and keep me posted on your progress.
I just found out via email that I have been accepted at University of Dayton! I am really hoping to get into UALR, since I know OSU is a stretch. I just love the internet because it allows me an earlier response on my acceptance since they mail you a letter within like a week.
Just found out through a letter I was accepted at UALR, so I'm heading there in the fall! It's great because my husband can keep his job and money won't be as much a worry! I was so nervous when I got the letter I almost didn't want to open it, since there is a 20% acceptance rate! Curiosity overcame though and I couldn't be happier!!
Congrats on your acceptance at UALR! It looks like I'll also be enrolling there this fall.
I received my scholarship letter from Dayton on the same day as my rejection from OSU. oh well the scholarship is exciting it's the President's scholarship and renewable! OSU was so tempting since I could double major with anything!!Ughh! stupid LSAT!
hi!!! congrats on ualr! have u visited the school yet? if so can u tell me your impressions of it ? b/c i am unable to visit at the moment due to financial reasons.
The primary reason I chose UALR is because my soon-to-be-wife will be starting med school in the fall of 2009 in Little Rock. If I go to Fayetteville, we will have to live apart for one year. Another reason is that we can buy a house if we live in Little Rock...we would rent if we went to Fayetteville...It also appears that my girlfriend has a teaching job lined up at Episcopal Collegiate...her job opportunities in the Fayetteville area are very limited. And then some other practical considerations like proximity to future jobs, internships, externships, networking opportunities, etc. I also get the feeling that Bowen is a school on the way up, and from what I hear, it has an excellent reputation in the state. Oh yeah, it is also cheaper than UAF because I won't have to pay out-of-state the first semester. Don't get me wrong, I would be happy to be in Fayetteville...but, Little Rock is simply a better fit for my needs. Sorry for being so long-winded...Many thanks and congrats to you, too!
Your numbers are still very good. Your LSAT is really decent. You will have a great cycle.
