2/16 - Withdrew from UF (I've got friends waiting)
2/21 - In at Vandy - priority mail box with loads of material
2/23 - "Hold" category at CLS - thin envelope caused minor heart palpitation
2/29 - Vanderbilt Chancellor's Scholarship via snail mail
3/3 - In at Texas - experience Texas admitted student's day e-mail, called admissions to confirm. waiting for letter and scholarship? 3/4 - Voicemail acceptance, 3/5 - acceptance packet
3/7 - In at USC - call from roommate about "package."
3/11 - Texas Dean's Scholarship. $9,500/yr and Texas resident tuition.
3/20 - In at Northwestern - status update email, decision online.
3/21 - Out at Stanford - thin snail mail. CA is officially out of consideration.
also: Duke Law Scholarship for $42,000.
3/28 - WL at Michigan - email. Applied 2/5 after fee waiver reminder, never intended on going. Figured I would help their yield or have another option. Not staying on.
4/1 - WL at UVa - Wow. Priority WL for Non-residents. Expected an acceptance and some $$$. YP? Wow.
also: NU acceptance package. Nice leather binder.
4/2 - WL at Penn - rough week.
4/11 - Out at Yale - long overdue.
4/15 - Deferred from CLS - placed on reserve. More waiting...unbelievable.
4/16 - Out at Harvard - 5% chance didn't pull through. Started 7/7 then it was all downhill.
4/19 - Some emails letting me know I missed deposit deadlines. "Withdrew" from those, I guess.
4/22 - Waiting on financial aid from NU but most likely sending the NYU deposit in this week.
4/23 - Last day of undergrad. NYU deposit is in. Barring any apologetic ($$$) admissions from a couple WL's...the end.
4/28 - In at UCLA - phone call. Finally.
4/30 - Call from Chicago reaffirming interest...interesting.
5/1 - In at Chicago - phone call from Ann Perry. Awesome.
5/13 - Chicago Scholarship email - $36k total with awards declining each year. Now it's getting interesting.
6/4 - CLS second reserve - this is getting ridiculous.

they held my app pending fall grades. probably because of a grade trend. penn emailed that i was complete. good luck!

Brevard CC to UCF... No not a bad jump, I've been exceptionally lucky. Scholarship notice came about a month ago. 3 or 4 weeks after acceptance. You have an amazing list of acceptances; I hope the trend continues. When you make your final decision I suggest laughing diabolically as you prepare to take over the world ;-)
