11/28 - In at Minnesota! woohoo!!!
12/10 - Small packet from Pitt - 2 for 2!!
12/14 - ED Deferred at UMich. Saw that one coming...
12/15 - On "hold" at BC. Crap.
12/17 - "Deferred" at Cornell. What a bad 3 days...
12/21 - In at Wisconsin, nice way to turn around the deferred streak!
01/15 - WL at Vandy...
01/24 - In at BU Woohoo!
04/03 - substantial financial aid offers from BC/BU - looking a lot like boston!
04/22 - officially rejected at Cornell. i am in shock. ok, not really.

Decided on BC in late April. Received large financial aid grant packages from both BC and BU. Both schools were the most generous with aid with the slight nod going to BC. Loved my visit to Wisconsin. Never made it out to Minnesota although the admissions folks were incredibly nice and I think it would have been an enjoyable experience. Was one of the last people dropped off of the Michigan waitlist...so there's hope there for you low numbers (relatively speaking) types. Only a couple weeks into BC, but so far have been pleasantly surprised by the professors and collegiality of the students. Good Luck!
