Additional info & updates

12/2 - Deferred by Georgetown, no real suprise I guess considering my LSAT is one point too low

12/10 - Really nailed the Northwestern interview today, hopefully that helps push my low-ish numbers over the edge...

12/23 - In at BU! Really comforting knowing I'm officially going to law school next year!

1/27 - In at GW via e-mail! I'm in at a school I think I would really enjoy, so the rest is just gravy from here.

1/29 - In at UT via phone call. Pretty cool that the dean of admissions took the time to call herself.

2/2 - In at Cornell via e-mail! Awesome school, and a great sign for the rest of my apps.

2/7 - Waitlisted at Vandy. I guess the acceptance streak had to end at some point...

2/10 - Rejected by UVA via email. They could have at least sent a letter...

2/12 - The good news, I got in to BC. The bad news, I got rejected by Georgetown. Somehow, rejection from my first choice does not quite feel offset by admission to my last...I'm pretty disappointed, but oh well. I'm in at some great schools with a shot at 2 more.

2/17 - Decision from Northwestern, well, sort of. The letter said my application is being put "on hold," whatever that means. Apparently they look at it again in April then decide whether I'm admitted, waitlisted, or rejected. More waiting, fun.

2/18 - Emailed Northwestern with a brief note attaching the form confirming that I am still interested. I've scheduled an on-campus interview for 3/13 and also let them know I'm planning to submit another essay and an additional letter of recommendation.

2/25 - Got the waitlist email from Michigan today. This is very disappointing as I was really, really hoping to go there. I have to say that at this point I'm just totally disillusioned with the whole process and just want everything to be over. The string of bad news just keeps on getting longer.
