Additional info & updates

3/8/10 Recieved a finacial aid award letter from Campbell (dated 3/1/10). The status checker says "decision rendered". I'm not sure what to think, but with the award letter, I'm looking up.

Wondering if this has happened to any other Campbell applicants...

3/29/10. NCCU status checker still reads "Application Complete and in Review" as of 3/5/10. Waiting is not easy! Given NCCU's turnaround time frame, I should be hearing from them any day now :)

4/08/10: Rejected from Duke via email...No big surprise. Although I did not expect to be accepted, I had the courage to apply. I am yet waiting as patiently as possible and without worry on a response from NCCU. I am at peace about their decison to come. This is in God's hands and He knows what's best for me. When I envision NCCU, I am at total peace for some reason and I can see myself transitioning peacefully from where I am to where I hope to be. The best is yet to come, in Jesus' name, Amen!

5/10 I noticed that my seat deposit info is no longer listed. I've read many profiles and some have noted the same...it didn't really seem so important until now...at this point, I just want to know if I'm in this year or not...(Sucking it up) talk to me NCCU. I'm ready to make moves!

5/21/10
I talked to an admissions counselor at NCCU yesterday...at this point the seats are very limited and applicants like myself are pending decisions as they are pending decisions from accepted applicants. It was suggested to me to go on and accept any other offers that I may have...since I dont have any, that was not good news for me. I see that they have accepted more applicants than they have seats :( It crushes my heart to know this, but I serve a God who is able to do exceedingly and abundantly more than I could ever ask or think. Considering all that I've learned, my faith has diminished to the size of mustard seed for my chance to study law this year. I cannot see how this will work out in my favor, but if law is God's will for my life, I am destined to be accepted.

6-2-10: Decision Rendered! So excited!!!!

6-4 Received letter: seats are full...timing wasn't right...I'm trying again next year :)

10-03-10: Reapplied to NCCU with revamped personal statement

1-26-11: Accepted into NCCU's PBAP! Also received an invitation to Charlotte Law's AMPLE program but will not be attending. NCCU is my first choice. Applied to Southern U. also...

In review...

My application has been in review now for 7 weeks. Since that time, I have been making positive preparations should NCCU decide to accept me into their program. I've been checking the online status checker as well as the mail box daily wondering (as well as many others) "Is this the day I hear good news??? Is it???? Is it???" Trying to anti-anxious but its a challenge because I really really want to get into NCCU!

Have you exhausted all LSAT attemts? A point increase should help? I feel you though I feel doomed and I haven't even started my cycle. Pray for me

@ Pat, I have considered. If this year is not my year, I plan to retake it. I really don't want to relocate again...I moved to Raleigh so that my family and I would be close to school. @ Jfemme: Best Wishes :)...I hope at least one of us gets in. I called today...all decisions should be rendered by the end of next week. I'm still in the race...
