4-21-06 Fordham small envelope (nicest rejection letter I've ever seen) -rejected

4-21-06 Hofstra big envelope -accepted 80K scholarship GO HOFSTRA

05-01-06 BKLYN called them - still with the commitee no decision yet

05-01-06 Tuoro called them - still with the commitee no decision yet (They were the 1st school I applied to and probably the last to respond. No wonder they are ranked so low)

05-02-06 St Johns thick envelope -accepted no scholarship

The debate begins go to Hofstra for free or St Johns and pay 100K???

5-05-06 Sent $850 seat deposit Hofstra

5-30-06 Touro large yellow envelope-accepted 3k scholarship-It took them 3 months to decide, which was two months longer then every other school. I hope this is not an example of how the school is run.

Do you think reapplying next early next cycle will help?

Accepted by SJU and Hoftsra plus scholarship but rejected by NYLS and waitlisted by PACE. The world is upside down

St. Johns no scholarship vs Hofstra scholarship (80k). Is St Johns worth 80 K. Any opinions out there???

Those decisions are weird. Is there something in your application that may have turned them off? Congrats on the acceptances to Hofstra and St. John's. I'm awaiting decision from St. John's. I have a feeling it will be a while before they notify me.

Hofstra

I've submitted my seat deposit at Hofstra. So unless some school gives me money I'll probably end up there.

Where in NY are you from? I'm from Nassau County. In regard to St. John's, if Hofstra gave me $20K per year, I'd be hard pressed to turn it down as well.

I noticed that trend also, I'm just glad my LSAT is considered above average. Hofstra was in Tier 2 last year, so hopefully this will bring them back. Always better to get your JD from a 2 then a 3.
