Feb LSAT
Friday, September 23 2005 at 08:00 PM

Hey Dok, what did you think of that Feb LSAT? I took it here in San Diego

Hi there!
Wednesday, February 08 2006 at 07:00 PM

We're almost close in numbers- where did you go to UG?

Business School
Friday, September 23 2005 at 08:00 PM

Dok, Thanks for dropping a line. Not that I like quitting at anything, but after my score I decided to enter into business school for my mba....I can get into USC part time...I figure I can try the LSAT again later

U of D Mercy
Sunday, March 12 2006 at 07:00 PM

I noticed you applied to Thomas Cooley but not U of Detroit Mercy. Why? U of D has a much better rep ( I am a former Detroiter)...you should give it a thought.

Detroit Mercy

I did think about Detroit Mercy but felt that 20 applications were sufficient.

where???
Sunday, March 12 2006 at 07:00 PM

so where do you really want to be..mi, ca, fl,ny, wy... or are you just going to go with the highest ranked school?

Choices
Monday, August 29 2005 at 08:00 PM

I'll probably go to the highest ranked school unless I get into one of the local schools.

hey
Friday, September 09 2005 at 08:00 PM

you applied kinda late. actually, its not good to have so many choices as me. i can't decide where to go, its really hard.

hey
Monday, January 02 2006 at 07:00 PM

I actually visited unviersity of miami over break and didn't like it..that was my first choice. So I will be attending hofstra because it is convieniently close to home and I have heard many great things about their access to jobs in NYC and such. My sn is kingjon12 if u have any questions. lata buddy.

UB
Tuesday, February 07 2006 at 07:00 PM

Hey, I have very similar numbers to you, have you heard anything from UB? It is my first choice and I was wondering if you had any insight into our chances. Thanks a lot and good luck with the rest of the cycle.

Thx

Hiya, thanks. I'm from NY yep, hello neighbor :-) I'm still waiting to hear back from all the other schools, they take forever :(

Thanks

Thanks for the comment. Congrats to you too. Have you decided what you are doing yet?

GM and NYSL
Monday, March 06 2006 at 07:00 PM

Good luck on the George Mason WL. It is kind of a mixed blessing to be on a waitlist so late in the game. -I'm on 6 at last count. What do you think about NYSL? I was accepted, but the tuition seems OUTRAGOUS to a non-New Yorker.

Hofstra
Wednesday, January 04 2006 at 07:00 PM

thanks! congrats you too...you have quite a few options to choose from! i'm about 90% sure i'll be at hofstra in the fall...i have this feeling about it and i'm wholeheartedly welcoming the change. :-) what about you...will you be attending?

Hofstra
Wednesday, January 04 2006 at 07:00 PM

i think i'm pretty open-minded at this point as far as where i want to settle down. i'm unattached and young, so it would be easy for me to stay on the east coast. with that said though, i've always seen myself practicing in cali, and more specifically southern cali, but that could all change. i do see myself ultimately coming back here to practice, but opportunities and attachments will dictate all that i guess. Are you planning to stay in NY?

Thanks

... for the heads up on the UNLV waitlist envelope. Almost every letter from UNLV during this late batch is for the waitlist. What factors played into your decisionto withdraw from NYLS?

Thanks

good luck on your pending applications! you'll be fine.

St Johns
Tuesday, March 21 2006 at 07:00 PM

St Johns took 3 weeks longer then Hofstra to decide. So hang in there, your numbers are very competitive. I noticed that you have not withdrawn from Hofstra are you considering accepting.

St Johns
Tuesday, March 21 2006 at 07:00 PM

I am sending my deposit to Hofstra today. They are giving me 20k a year and St Johns accepted me but no scholarship. I don't think the small diffence in ranking is worth 20 K a year. So it looks like I be joing you in Hempstead

St Johns

I from Bayside Queens and I work in Nassau. So both schools are equally convinient but I think the difference in rankings is marginal at best.

Practice
Tuesday, March 21 2006 at 07:00 PM

I would like to practice in Manhatan. During my visit I met a few 3L that had jobs lined up with big firms in Manhattan. Hopefully this is not an anomoly.

Hofstra
Saturday, November 19 2005 at 07:00 PM

Thanks for the congrats, congrats to you too. As for Hofstra, since at the moment its the only school I was accepted to, I guess I probably will go there. My first choice is Cardozo but they practically have my application as a permenent "pending" status since it's been 4 months and they still have not given me an answer either way!!!! I'm not exactly known for my great patience so waiting for a response (regardless of what it is) SUCKS!!! Anyway, best of luck to you!

Thanks
Sunday, December 04 2005 at 07:00 PM

Thanks Dok - I really, really appreciate it! I want to go to UB more than anything - I'm so bummed out that I'm on their waitlist. According to the Dean of Admissions, who I met with earlier today, my chances aren't looking too great right now. But I guess it's all good. I'm going to hang in there until the very end.

Seat Deposit
Sunday, December 04 2005 at 07:00 PM

Hey, if you don't mind me asking...do you recall how much money Buffalo wanted as a seat deposit???

Finally...
Wednesday, February 08 2006 at 07:00 PM

I rec'd my acceptance from Touro today :) I'm going to law school- I'm in tears and soooo excited!!

thanks
