10/13/10: So now its a waiting game. I've had friends forewarn me of the stress that comes with waiting and they sure were right.

11/9/10: Cornell app with admissions committee and will receive decision within the month. All other apps are "Complete" or "Under Review".

11/29/10: Email from Cornell that my application is being placed with the regular applicant pool for further consideration. I'm okay with that!

12/2/10: Dinged via email from Virginia.

12/15/10: Decision rendered by McGeorge via status checker. Letter will arrive within five business days.

12/20/10: McGeorge acceptance received via snail mail. Barrister Scholly of $7,500 renewable = $30,000 over four years. Must rank in top 1/3 of class. Excited! I'm hoping to keep my job with California and go to school part time, so this is a very realistic option for me unless Loyola gives me more money. :)

1/20/11: Email from ND congratulating me on my acceptance to the class of 2014! YAY! maybe i'll consider going FT...

1/24/11: ND Admission packet arrived today, offering me $10,000 per year renewable scholarship - icing on the cake!! ND is becoming an even stronger draw away from going to school PT in California.

2/2/11: Call from UCI Admissions Office to congratulate me on my acceptance, offering me the 1/3 scholly for all admitted students in the 2014 class. Exciting! :)

2/2/11: Withdrew application from Cornell. After serious consideration I decided I wouldn't want to attend even if admitted.

2/9/11: Decision rendered by Loyola via status checker. Since I live in L.A. I figure I'll get this within a day or two.

I actually didn't notice the status update until after I got the packet in the mail. They seem to move really quickly. Looks like your file was complete a little before mine, so keep an eye out! Anyway, I wouldn't stress about the waiting. I'm thinking the worst is over (LSAT) and not you just gotta sit back and wait :) Good luck!

Heard from ND through regular mail. Applied ED, and heard the day before the deadline they set for us to hear back from them.

Thanks so much for the message! No email from Loyola. I went to the status checker site, and it said a decision had been made and decision sent out on 12/20. I live in LA, and got it today. I was really excited, especially when I saw the 50k. Good luck to you! Let me know how it goes.
