Any reason you're not shooting for higher ranked schools? As a URM with your LSAT, have you thought of blanketing t14 schools? Good luck with your cycle.

Good luck

Thanks for the comment. I'll be watching your cycle with great interest. If you're truly a URM (non-Mexican Latinos I don't think count anymore as URMs), you should be looking at some MAJOR $$ and some really exciting opportunities. Even if you're not classified as a URM, I think with your LSAT, you should be able to secure a spot in a very solid program. Good luck, number twin :)

Congrats on Loyola!

I've also applied to the part time program. Did you get a letter in the mail or an email informing you of your acceptance? i'm hoping to hear soon!! happy holidays. :)

Yea, that scholly is QUITE nice. I applied to the Public Interest Scholars Program so I'm hoping to get aid through that. Thanks for the info!

Behind the 8 ball

Haven't heard anything yet, but probably partially due to me having not applied anywhere yet. I've been agonizing over this personal statement and I just applied (about 3 minutes ago) to my first school - Case Western. Congrats on your first acceptance. I'm sure it's the first of many. I'll be checking up on you frequently. Take care.

Non-trad

Thanks. I classify myself as non-traditional because I've been out of school for about 5 years and am married. Congrats and best of luck to you.

Safety Schools
Tuesday, March 30 2010 at 08:00 PM

Congrats on the big money from some solid schools! I'm not surprised. My safety schools responded quickly and I'm in with them. Now just playing the waiting game for my top choices.

USD
Friday, January 07 2011 at 07:00 PM

Thanks! I am not a URM. I was pretty surprised at the $$$ for USD - it's actually making it the least costly option right now in terms of debt when I graduate, which is a little odd. Congrats on all of the offers!

Congrats

Great job on the USD money. How did they notify you?

I wish I could say. I'm still riding out the waitlists. UCI is my #1, so we'll see if any movement occurs. Good luck to you! San Diego is a wonderful area.
