-Great Recommendation Letters

** I highly recommend sending out fee waiver request emails to a wide range of schools you are competitive at, as this strategy worked amazingly for me and hopefully will allow me to maximize my acceptances and $$$ offers. May be a bit late in the cycle to do it now, but you will never find out of you do not try it. Good luck all!**

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1/3- Admitted to U Richmond via phone call with the Dean. She was very nice and it was great to get my first admit. Expecting acceptance packet in mail any day now.

1/4- Admitted to Charlotte Law via email. Got near full ride there, non-negotiable. Its my super safety school but I was happy to see some $$$ for use in negotiations later.

1/12- Waitlisted at Washington & Lee via OSC/ email. I expected it, looking at their waitlist for this cycle and applicants with similar numbers. Still slightly disappointing, though not an outright rejection!

1/19- Just got accepted to William & Mary via email/snail mail!! So excited about breaking into Tier 1 and will consider this offer very seriously. Also got an $8,000 renewable annual scholarship offer with a C average stipulation. Any LSNers out there who have successfully negotiated or received $$$ from W&M please PM me if you get a chance!

1/23- Admitted to Loyola Chicago via email. Awaiting acceptance package and scholarship via snail mail. Would have to be a big scholly for me to consider seriously

1/24-Admitted to Iowa Law via email. Awaiting acceptance packages and scholarship info in the mail.

1/25- Rejected from George Washington via email. Was disappointing because it has been my only rejection (so far!) but I was expecting it. Moving on.

Also accepted to Catholic Law via status checker. Awaiting decision packet and scholarship info via snail mail.

1/30- Accepted to George Mason via phone call. Awaiting acceptance packet. Also received scholarship from Catholic today, via email.

2/4- Accepted to Seton Hall Law via snail mail, with a 35k per year scholarship! SHU is pretty expensive otherwise but this does make me consider this as a viable option.

you too dude! hope all goes well with your cycle too. i know i have low figures so i'm not expecting too much. just thought i'd give it a try and get my feet wet with the application process too. i'm most likely going to take the lsats again when i get back from indonesia and apply next cycle. i want to be more competitive for schollys too. you should put your dates on your profile...it helps people track your process...if you care to. haha nbd rly.

Good Luck!!!

Thank you for your message! Hopefully you and I can provide some hope for reverse splitters in the future! I'd really love to get into Case, American, and Hastings, so we will see. Hastings and Case, especially. Looks like you have a great list of acceptances so far. Sorry about GW. Is it me or was their rejection letter a little trite and condescending? I've gotten much better rejection letters from much better places :). If not GW, what's your next choice? Best of luck to you, and I'll check back to see how everything ends up!

Thank you :)

I just saw your message, thanks! I really wanted Wake but I don't think they are offering any money to me, so now I'm pulling for a Florida school.. FSU accepted me right away but still waiting to hear from UF. That will give me in-state tuition.. I would really consider the full ride to Michigan State but that is so far from Florida! Anyways, good luck :)

Congrats
