Non-binding deferment to Rutgers Newark from the 2009-2010 cycle, had to take care of some issues at home

October - December - prepped for LSAT, scored 164-170s on PT. Unexpected death in immediate family in November threw studying off course

January - received LSAT score, fee waivers from Villa Nova, William and Mary, Pittsburgh, Seton Hall, Notre Dame, Northwestern, U Chicago, USC, Wash U,

1/26 - Brooklyn

1/27 - File put on hold at Northwestern :(

1/28 - 75,000 scholarship offer from Hofstra (25k per yr)

2/1 - In at William and Mary via status checker

2/2 - In at Tulane via email

2/4- In at UIUC via email! $25,000 per year. STOKED!!! Also got $8,000 per year at W&M via snail mail admit packet, and $20,000 at Tulane. Really loving the Tulane tote bag they mailed my admission info in.

2/17 - In at Wash U! This is so surreal. I still have the rejection letter they sent me when I applied for UG

2/23 - In at GWU via email (YASSSSS!!!!!!!!!)

3/2 - In at Villanova via email to check the status checker, full tuition (about 109k?) at Wake Forest via email. Definitely puts Wake back on the table!

3/7 - 20k/yr at Vandy!

3/9 - In at IUB via email (which I thought was strange) with full out of state tuition!

3/19 - 21/5k/yr at Brooklyn Law, 25k/year at Villanova

3/21 - Waitlisted at Notre Dame :-/

3/23 - Waitlisted at BU.

3/30 - Negotiated scholarship increase at UIUC. 96k from 75k

3/24 - Dinged at U Chicago. It was beyond a reach

4/7 - Reg waitlist at Georgetown

4/14 - Washington U increased scholly to 25k/year

4/27 - Placed on reserve at Cornell

Are you going to do Illinois and follow the money, or Vanderbilt, your #1 choice? They are both great, both top 25, so it shouldn't matter. Great job!

@sriegert - Thanks! I don't know yet, I really, really love Vanderbilt, and I'm surprised they admitted me....but on the other hand, Illinois offered a pretty sweet deal.
