Thanks it was great to hear from a fellow latino. Thank you also for the imput on some of the schools. It gives me a little bit more hope. I wish you large luck also. I applied last year also, with a lower lsat and a bigger head, now i realize how much the lsat means. I heard from DC really quickly, i sent the application i think like the 23 of october and just got the letter i think on the first of december. Good luck with them. I'm looking at your schools, hofstra, DC seems to be your best bet. I applied to Maryland and Seton hall last year and got rejected really quickly. Buenas suerte otra vez. Vamos a obtener lo que querremos porque estamos fuerte y orgulloso. ! !

Hi and Good luck! The link that higherlearning posted is to my blog. I was in a similar situation last year, and it really sucked, but I applied to a lot of places and took part in the AAMPLE program at Albany Law School. It worked out for me and I am finishing up my first semester in law school. I wish you the best with the schools that you chose to apply to. I would probably apply to a few more lower tiered schools, just to give yourself more options. I got rejected from Catholic, UM, and Seton Hall, and I was waitlisted at Hofstra. If something similar happens to you, you would then only have three schools that are more on target for your LSAT/GPA combo. I know it sucks to have to do that, but a few more safety, or target schools would not hurt. Either way good luck and if you have any questions, post on my blog, or you can email me.

Fingers Crossed too...

Sucks that you have such a great GPA but low LSAT. Just goes to show, in my opinion, standardized tests shouldn't make or break an applicant. Either way, Shadowcreeperz is right, give yourself at least 2 or 3 safe ones. UDC has a fee waiver and so does FLa Coastal if you apply thru their website. Widener has fee waiver too but can't remember if it's still available. That way with widener, you can apply to two campuses for price of one. Good luck.

boy this ziva person must have been a real bad fit at udc, they told me not to go and that they had a 2.9 in the first year, because it is a bad school. well nuts to him, i dont care, i am excited to be in udc, i will see you there at the start of school

Congratulations!

On your acceptance to Hofstra Law...How did you manage that considering the LSAT score? Did you have an interview? Do you have any pointers or suggestions? I would love to go to Hofstra...And I have applied and so I am waiting to hear a response. Best of luck in the future and much success : )

Congratulations!

I see you got waitlisted at Hofstra and you were accepted to University of DC. My I ask why you didn't go to U of DC? I am also applying there, and wanted to know what turned you off about the school, or if you had another reason for not going there.
