Hi to my one and only numbers-twin!

A lot of similarities here...

I'll claim to be a retroactive numbers twin. I don't know how strongly location will play into your choice, but I would love to offer some thoughts (scholarship $, visiting experiences) on your prospects, since I had an almost identical situation last year. Good luck! (but you probably won't need it!)

Congrats!

On the rest of your schools ... but it looks like you already have some pretty great options! What's your first choice?

Sorry for the delay in the reply--law school finals consume everything else! I really like your list of prospective schools--they seem to be varied in location, but exactly in line with your numbers and ECs for scholarship consideration. My most important advice is to visit any you're really interested in. Personally, the visit to Vanderbilt almost sold me immediately, and the one to UVA knocked it out of contention, but that was largely due to the kind of school I was looking for. Make sure you apply for the merit scholarships at Vanderbilt (if you haven't already)--let's just say that your scores have won a full-tuition scholarship before;-) Best of luck, and let me know if you have any questions.

Sorry I didn't cover this in the previous post. I had offers around $60k (total) from Duke and W & M, but Vandy offered a full scholarship plus stipend. In other words, you should be in good shape!

Congrats!

Scholarship timing

I wouldn't worry about for at least a few weeks--I was notified on Valentine's Day (my fiancee really liked that!). The competition is rumored to be intense this year, but I certainly will be wishing you the best of luck!

Congrats!
