Best of luck with your journey! I was just recently deferred from Akron but am still waiting on Cleveland State, Ohio Northern, and Dayton. Who knows maybe we will end up at the same place!
Hey, we have similar number and a few overlapping schools. I had to laugh though because I am from Kansas wanting to get to CA and you live in CA and are possibly wanting to come to KS. Is there a particular reason you didn't apply to any Cali schools (if you don't mind me asking)? Also another personal question only because I am curious what part in Kansas are you originally from? You don't have to give specifics if you don't want to. I am from central KS 1 hr north of Wichita, but I go to KU so now I am in KC. Anyway good luck with KU waitlist!! I am there as well.

Hey! It's good to meet another person in my shoes. First, I will actually be living with my girlfriend in Lawrence. She is already in at KU and I have decided to make the commute to Washburn if I don't get in to KU. I hear a lot of people make the drive (some carpool)! I called admissions last week and asked about the whole "late may" thing and they actually told me we probably wouldn't hear anything til after June 15th because that's when the second seat deposit is due. I asked "So...why did it say late may?" and she said something about that's when they may make another cut....it seems with law school admissions you just never know. I see you aren't from Kansas...have you ever been? I have grown up in Wichita, Kansas and have always wanted to go to KU. I had to go to Wichita State University after high school because I couldn't afford to go to KU but I have visited 1,000 times and I love it! OH....you said something about in an interview with the admissions office they said 90% of transfer applicants are accepted. Were you speaking with to KU??? I haven't looked into their transfer requirements. I think I saw something a LONG time ago about an LSAT requirement but I cannot recall. Anyways....sorry for the long message. That's awesome that you purchased a house! Congrats. It's funny....yesterday Topeka was described to me as being the "asshole" and the "armpit" of Kansas. hahaha. I'm really crossing my fingers about Washburn though. I hear the law school is really nice. Have you visited? I am going to the admitted student BBQ on the 18th because I haven't even seen the law school. It kinda sucks because I was hoping we would hear from KU by then but I'm thinking it will be right after that....we'll see! Although I hope we both get in it's nice to know we could potentially have a lawrence to topeka carpool started. lol. We'll see how everything pans out!

Congrats on KU! Did ONU call you at all in the past few weeks?
Yes, it does look like I'll be learning the law in the Village of Ada! :) I'd be dumb to turn down such a scholarship, even if it is renewable! I have a friend who just graduated from T3 on a full-tuition after turning down offers from the T50 at full sticker. Her advice: "Take the free money. Nobody cares where you graduate five years after you pass the bar, except for your student loans." Best of luck on the rest of your cycle!
