12/19/08 - I just received my acceptance letter from McGeorge! I am soo happy! My 1 year old son is having fun screaming with me. :-) I didn't expect to receive any scholarship money, so the scholarship is icing on the cake. Woohoo!!! Now I can enjoy Christmas.

01/23/09 - Received acceptance packet from Southwestern. Yay! Acceptance letter said that scholarship info will follow...I really hope they give me some money.

02/06/09 - Happy rainy day! Received acceptance letters from Loyola and Santa Clara today. I am so stoked that I was accepted by all of the schools I applied to. Now comes the hard part of choosing which school to attend, but I can't complain.

02/10/09 - I thought I'd update my information because I'm kind of having status checker withdrawal...I'm such a weirdo. I am looking forward to visiting all 4 schools and I'm hoping that I'll be able to tell where I belong after my visits.

03/22/09 - My school visits are over...I am definitely leaning toward McGeorge because I feel it is the best fit for me and my family. Santa Clara is definitely out...their ASD day convinced me NOT to attend the school because it was unorganized and I wasn't impressed with the student panel (I did like the profs). I liked Loyola, but I don't want to stay in Los Angeles so it seems pretty silly to attend LLS. I fell in love with McGeorge and Sacramento during my visit, so now I just have to convince my hubby to move. :-) It also makes the most financial sense for me to attend McGeorge since I have a scholarship (at least for the first year), and the cost of living is so low in Sacramento. I am not looking to go into "biglaw" so the ranking of the law school doesn't mean that much to me. I also could see myself living in Sac for a long time, it is just a beautiful city!

04/13/09 - My dreams of moving to Sacramento might have to wait...my husband really doesn't want to move out of southern CA so it looks like it may be Loyola for me. I am definitely not upset about attending Loyola - I think it's an awesome school - I just was looking forward to moving and I really like McGeorge.

06/26/09 - It's been awhile since I've been on here & I finally decided to update my status. I was sad to withdraw from McGeorge, but I'm happy for the person that got my spot. I am excited about Loyola...I just can't believe that school starts in a month and a half! I'm just trying to enjoy my summer and rest up for 4 years of law school. :-)
