Additional info & updates

Pretty much all of my apps went complete in mid-to-late November.

3-04-06 Yet another priority/preferred waitlist. Sigh.

On the bright side, just 2 more to go, and I'll be able to start packing my bags for LA!

(Don't worry, I'll be doing lots of withdrawing quite soon.)

3-13-06 C'mon guys, hurry up and waitlist me, Duke, and ding me, NYU. You know you're going to, so let's just get the show on the road.

4-13-06 At this point, I can't possibly imagine attending NYU or Duke should a minor miracle occur, and yet for curiosity's sake, I can't bring myself to withdraw. Anyone else experiencing this?

4-17-06 Wow, waitlisted at NYU. That's a pleasant surprise. I'm not going to stay on it, but it feels good for the ego.

1. Top-notch reach(ish) schools - GTown, NYU, Duke, VA. 2. CA (where I'm from) schools - Boalt, UCLA, Davis. 3. Probable admit, good schools - Vand, ND. 4. Fee Waivers - NW, GM, Ill Also, I've put my rankings (well, "tiers"). Thanks for the comment!

My UVA ding is not a sore spot for me; I am happy to answer any questions about it. I went complete there pretty early- like Nov. 8 or somewhere around there. Good luck with your UVA app and congrats on your acceptances thus far, especially Vandy, Notre Dame (had a friend go to that one, really enjoyed it), and UCLA!! What is your MA in?
