I live in Pasadena and received the packet yesterday. The date on the letter was December 17th, but it was postmarked Jan. 2nd.

Regarding U of A

Hello. I have been checking almost daily waiting for Arizona to send out another batch. I was accepted to Asu with a 161 and 3.85 and have been dying to hear from Arizona. When you called did you request to speak with the dean? Did you simply ask whether they had made a decision or not? Do you think they will be mailing a bunch of decisions out soon? Do you think I should call or sit tight? Thanks and congratulations on your acceptances.

Congrats

on all of your acceptances so far. You have been admitted to some good schools. Congratulations especially on ASU and UofA. I applied to ASU (regular decision) and am planning on squeezing in an application for UofA. Our numbers our fairly similar so I am hoping your success at getting into ASU reflects my chances as well!

Congrats

Right now I am leaning towards U of FL as my top choice, and the in state tutition is looking really tempting at both UF and FSU. What is your top pick?

yeah both of those schools have very strong programs so im sure you will do great no matter where you end up!

ASU and UofA

Thank you for the well wishes. I did attend ASU, so I am banking on that helping me out a lot. I met with a professor who used to be on the admissions committee and told him how much I wanted to attend ASU and how I intended to practice law in Phoenix. Hopefully that helped.

ASU or AZ?

I really cannot decide. I love Phoenix, was not impressed with Tucson, but AZ is ranked significantly better. I am worried about having to pack up and find a place to live in Phoenix for summer employment if I go to AZ. What did you two decide?

In State Tuition
Thursday, July 17 2008 at 08:00 PM

Hello again. I saw you mentioned that you would be getting in-state tuition at ASU and UA. Did you receive scholarships that put you at in-state tuition, or did you qualify for actual residency? I am curious because I was offered 12k per year to UA, but nothing to ASU. If you got a scholly from ASU maybe I could swing one too.

Tucson

Hello. We are really enjoying Tucson so far. We rent an apartment way up in a very nice area in the foothills. The scenery is beautiful in our neck of the woods and there are plenty of restaurants, malls, movies theaters etc. My wife is loving the weather and loves it even more since she heard that it snowed like crazy in Utah about two weeks ago. So far we are really happy. The only caveat is that about two weeks after we moved in and paid my seat deposit ASU sent me a very late scholarship offer. It was comparable to UA's offer and so we decided to stay. Good luck to you in the fall!
