Additional info & updates

I am still waiting to hear back from a few schools. I have gotten in of a few wait lists. I can believe that I applied to some of these schools on Sept or Oct and they still haven't gotten back to me.

3/13/13

Getting accepted at San Diego was a surprise. I had assumed I was going to get rejected by any school I hadn't already heard back from.

2/7/13
I have heard back from the majority of schools I applied to and still am no closer to knowing where I'll be attending now then when I was when I was turning in apps in Sept/Oct haha

I have a 3.33 gpa at my university. Overall my LSAC gpa is 2.95 because when I first started attending community college I got two "Y"s (withdrawing while failing) because I didn't drop the class after I stopped going. I think I just assumed I would be given a "W". Yea it was dumb. I attended a good community college and then transferred. I have an associates degree and am only a few classes away from my bachelors. Anyway I am applying to a lot of schools because my numbers are in the "crapshoot" range.

Congrats on Phoenix. You have a good LSAT. I'm interested in seeing what you hear back from these others. Please keep us up-to-date.

Yeah, I have noticed because Im so far out from undergrad, my GPA has not really been a factor in my cycle (thank god), it has been the LSAT and my experience. For the most part, if my LSAT was outside the 25th percentile, I didnt get in. Im super excited for Idaho, I just visited the campus last weekend, the school is great. What is your top choice?

Hey, Congrats to you as well!! I would just be respectful and say thank them for their gracious offer but you have decided to attend withdraw your admission. Plus include your LSAC #. They will likely write back asking where you plan on going. Some may even hint at more money (or ask if more money would help, etc). Overall pretty painless.

Yea withdrawing is less of a big deal than I thought it would be. Most schools have been very nice and some ask me to take survey etc

I got a huge packet in the mail. I have had calls, emails, small letters, giant packets.....every school has their own way.

Just wondering, did some of these schools really take almost 6 months to make a decision?

Yes

I applied to almost every school in Sept or Oct. Its crazy it has taken them so long to get back to me.
