Accepted at Baylor via e-mail! Status checker still shows no decision has been made. Snail mail letter to follow.

Baylor status checker finally caught up with real life. Still waiting on official acceptance letter to come in the mail.

Application sent to Washington & Lee just for kicks.

Changed both GPA numbers to reflect what should be a 4.0 for my final semester.

File complete at Tech. Also got final semester grades today. Will request they send an updated transcript to LSAC for processing, as these last three A's help my LSAC GPA slightly. Hopefully this will get done before I go under review at Tech.

In at Tech with Regent's scholarship covering full tuition and fees. Dean Cook requested a face-to-face meeting, and at the end he handed me the envelope with the acceptance letter. Woot!!

Paid my $300 refundable seat deposit at Tech today. They gave me a pen. :)

After a terribly long drought, I've finally got a decision at Wesleyan. Will look for the letter in the mail in the next few days. Still nothing from W&L.

Accepted at Texas Wesleyan with a $30,000 total scholarship, with $15,000 of it to go toward my first year and the remaining $15,000 to be split between the second and third years, renewable if I stay in the top 25% of my class.

Withdrew from Wesleyan. Hope somebody else can use that money. :)

The email and the snail mail told me about the scholarship for Baylor. I don't know whether that means that only those who are notified immediately of the scholarship get one, but my guess is that money opens up later on.

Almost forgot: I think the Regents Full Tuition + Tuition Related Expenses Scholarship totals to about 50k. I know, I'm picky. Sure feels great to say 50k instead of 45k. :)

My reciept for my $300 non-binding deposite is placed neatly in my "Law School Responses" folder. I think I still have to pay $1000 by early June to seal the deal for fall semester. Anyway, e-mail me. I'm not really into sports, but... go Red Raiders!
