Middle Eastern

Schools will not say that ethnicity is a determining factor (It's is against the law). However, that could help you to certain schools who might see it as something nice to have. All in all, as opposed to the medical field, there aren't that many middle eastern people applying to law school. Applicants like us could stand out to schools since they might believe that Middle Eastern people are underrepresented in the country.

When are you expecting to hear back from UT?

I am expecting to hear in April or May (at least I hope that is the case). If I do get accepted, I need to move half way across the country and find a place to live.

Okay, it's been a while since I did the school thing...Do you apply for financial aid before getting accepted, or after? Are scholarships only awarded to those who have filled out a FAFSA?

Financial Aid

I believe you are suppose to send in your finanical aid (FAFSA) document as soon as you apply so as to avoid delays in any aid they may give you.

I received the letter too this Monday. However, i am a bit curious - was your letter signed by the committee or an individual person?
