smu scholarship package in the mail. $45,900 total package. it's basically what i expected but i'm a little disappointed that i couldn't increase my lsat score by 1 point in order to get to their median. i probably could have garnered another 30k if i had done so. but i'm okay with what i got.

emailed scholar in law scholarship package from wustl of 117k. this basically makes my decision between smu and wustl an easy one. the only thing that would make make my choice of law schools a tough choice would be an acceptance to vandy or cornell.

just found out after sending an email yesterday to smu admissions that they won't be matching or increasing their scholarship offer. since it cornell isn't realistic option since this year was so competitive, it comes down to wustl or vandy if i can get off their waitlist.

Called Cornell after my status checker changed to "Early Action Complete two days ago and found that I had been placed on reserve. I immediately sent a withdrawal email.

I paid my second wustl deposit which was $400. It isn't due until June 1st but i went ahead and decided to pay it. I'm still on the waitlist at vandy, but each day that passes makes it more likely I would turn them down and stick with wustl.

I just withdrew from the vandy waitlist...apparently they're completely full and there's a strong possibility they won't be pulling anyone off the waitlist. also withdrew the indiana waitlist...had been too lazy to withdraw up until now. For SMU and Houston I just let the deposit due dates for those admitted come and go so i'm sure my apps were automatically withdrawn.

Officially WUSTL and St. Louis bound.
