Additional info & updates

To anybody interested:
The LSAC DOES correct misbubbles with a hand score despite what anyone you call there might tell you immediately after the test.

GEORGETOWN!!!! Thin cream envelope acceptance. Dated 02/04/07

Withdrew DU app 02/12/07. I hope they give my scholarship to someone who really wants to go!

Minnesota Deferral 02/20/07. Along with everyone else I guess. I really dont see how their strategy of deferring 80% of the applicant pool is going to work to their benefit.

Vanderbilt Watilist 03/10/07. Not too concerned- pretty much what LSN predicted with my numbers- but it does brake my perfect cycle thus far.

GW waitlist 03/12/07. Actually a fairly nice letter from them. Little do they know I will be attending their arch rival...

USC 03-30-07. DINGDINGDING! My first rejection. Who wants to live in south central LA anyways? Getting more and more appreciative of GULC.

UT 4-10-07 Ding #2. yay GULC

04-27-07. It at Minnesota via voicemail. Nice to feel loved again.

05-07-07. And cycle complete with the Cornell waitlist. GULC here I come.

Congrats on Gtown! We have similar numbers and I applied there, too, so I was wondering how long it took for you to get a decision after you were complete. Best of luck to you the rest of the cycle!

Congrats--nice to see similar numbers and URM status with acceptances--confirms my theory that good letters, essay, experience can make up for a lot. If i come of GULC waitlist, maybe i'll join you...

i just got my GULC acceptance letter today!! (thin cream envelop) was just wondering, any insight on a GULC part time vs. GW full time?? i know its a T-14 school vs. T-22 (at least according to US News), but what made you choose the part time program? any insight will be greatly appreciated! thanks :0)
