Additional info & updates

Received a call from Florida State, curious to see what kind of money they can offer. The envelope from Georgetown was deceptively thin, but contained an acceptance. I can live with that.
12-2: Accepted at William and Mary, offered 14,200 a year for 3 years
Three deferrels in a row, yuck: Only one I really want is Penn, if they let me in, that's where I'm going.
Into Santa Clara w/ 16K.
Cinci with 15K a year, if I was a resident, that'd be a lot better.
2-28: Accepted at Cornell via email
All monies are per year
3-2: Received the package from Cornell and the inevitable Yale ding.
3-6: Withdrew from all but GULC and Cornell. Unless Columbia, NYU, or Penn come through, the decision may come down to money, if either are willing to offer. I=Poor
3-19: Waitlisted at Michigan. Not going to send anything in.
4-2: No dice in the city. Unless Penn comes through out of the blue, I'm going to Cornell.

CONGRATS on your acceptances thus far. Could you tell me if you applied EA/ED to W&M? I thought their admissions weren't rolling! Anyways, way to represent the ROC Metro area. Best of luck! :)

Thanks for the congrats...same toyou! I see we have a few schools in common- I wanted to make GULC's ASW, but I won't be able to. If you go, let me know how it is!

Thanks!

Hi numbers twin! I sure hope NYU tells us something, anything, sometime soon... the waiting is killing me. Don't think I'll make Georgetown's ASW as it conflicts with Duke's. Will probably go to the reception in my city though. Congrats on all the good news so far and best of luck with the rest of the cycle! Make like Bigwig and dominate :)

at NU...maybe it would have helped, but when they deferred me I would have picked GULC anyway, so I didn't really want to.

Thanks

Thanks for the support on NYU. We have really similar GPA situations happening. I hope you get more love from your top choices than I did. Then again, I am thrilled about NYU.

I plan on teaching until I graduate from JM (if I can get in). I was teaching band, but now I am teaching 3rd grade. I want to do criminal defense and immigration law.

Cardozo?
Tuesday, January 30 2007 at 07:00 PM

Waitlisted at Cardozo? Is that a typo on your part or are they insane? Congrats on your other awesome acceptances, we have similar numbers (169, 3.5), so the Cardozo concerns me a bit

Congrats!!!!

Thanks! Your choices aren't too shabby either :) Cornell is awesome (went there for undergrad)! I have no idea why I've done so well with the applications, I'm so so so surprised - I did send wave after wave of stuff though
