Scholarships:
Ole Miss-$5,000 per year regardless of in-state or out-of-state status. Offered in early May.
Kentucky-Out-of-state tuition waived. Offered with acceptance in March.
Tennessee-$5,000 per year when out-of-state and $1,500 if residency is established. Offered in early May.
Florida State-$7,000 for year 1 and $5,000 for years 2 and 3. The $7,000 was offered hours after I withdrew in the middle of June. A few weeks later the other $10,000 was offered. A bit underhanded of them to offer a scholarship only after I withdrew.

You are so in at FSU and probably UF especially being from FL. UGA has been pretty picky this year and I'm not 100% sure why but who wants to be in Athens anyhow...right? Congrats on Mississippi and Tennessee and best of luck on your other ones! You have a definite chance for a sweep! I'm pulling for ya, keep me informed!

Congratulations on Tennessee. I can't wait to hear from them myself.

FSU

FSU called me first which totally surprised me and I received the acceptance letter two days after that. You'll be good though since you're from Florida.

Also, the status checker just showed complete, and I was accepted before my check cleared the bank.

Yeah, UF wasn't my top choice either but I was still expecting a for sure acceptance from them. I dont know who they think they are this year...and looking at your numbers, again you'd think you would definitely be accepted.

Financial Aid at Ole Miss

Thanks for the comment - I haven't heard anything about financial aid yet. It's going to make a big difference on my decision, too. I guess we'll just keep waiting anxiously.

Thanks!

Nice username. I think I'll start calling you that in class. I'm sure you will figure it all out when you go on your extensive tour of campuses. Fair warning that Ole Miss is really tempting- doesn't help that the law school overlooks the Grove. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed for you to get off a waitlist or two.

That's hilarious. You would get selected for jury duty two weeks before finals. Have fun!

Just wondering if you had made up your mind yet - I decided to head to Ole Miss this fall.

Congrats on getting in to UF off the wait list! If you don\'t mind me asking, could you tell me what your numbers are? You can email them to me if you don\'t want them out on LSN. Also, how did they notify you and are you going to accept the offer?

Hey, so did you decide to stick with Ole Miss for now, rather than accept UF\'s offer?
