Additional info & updates

In at Gonzaga last year, but decided to reapply. Scored 10+ lower than practice LSATs on the one that counts. I can't shake this string of bad history with standardized tests.

12/3/07 - Sent in 10 applications. UGA is my top choice and Mercer is my back-up. HERE WE GO!

In order:
UGA -> UNC -> UW-Madison -> UC Hastings -> UF -> American -> Case Western -> Seton Hall -> DePaul -> Miami -> GSU -> St. Louis -> Mercer

1/9/08 - Received fee waivers from St. Louis and Seton Hall. Decided to apply. 12 schools now!

1/10/08 - Bad start. Out at Miami. I thought I had outside chance. Apparently, they still average the score. 0/1.

1/16/08 - In at Mercer in small envelope. 1/2. In at my back-up school, and it's a better school than Gonzaga. A year not wasted.

1/28/08 - Out at American in small envelope. 1/3.

2/2/08 - Out at UF in small envelope. 1/4.

2/7/08 - After week of silence, two dings. Hastings and Wisconsin. Both in small envelope. 1/6.

Decided to apply to DePaul, although it's late, using fee waiver they gave me recently.

3/1/08 - First day of the month, another ding. Out at Georgia State. Small envelope. 1/7.

3/7/08 - Out at UGA via online status checker. 1/8.

3/10/08 - Another ding at De Paul. Small envelope. 1/9.

3/12/08 - On a whim, or because I was scared I'll only get into Mercer, I applied to University of Indiana - Bloomington, University of Kansas, and Rutgers - Newark. Although it's late in the cycle, I hope I didn't waste money.

3/18/08 - Rejected from Case Western with a Guaranteed Transfer Offer if I place in top 33% of any ABA-approved schools. 1/10.

3/31/08 - Admitted to Seton Hall PT. Wished it was FT, but I'm happy I got in. 2/11.

4/11/08 - Waitlisted at St. Louis.

4/24/08 - Waitlisted at Kansas.

4/28/08 - Rejected at Indiana. 2/12.

5/5/08 - Rejected at UNC. 2/13.

6/16/08 - Call from St. Louis offering a spot at Accelerated Part-Time Program. Basically, I'll be PT first year, take 1 summer course, and be FT 2nd and 3rd year. 3/14.

6/16/08 - Rejected at Rutgers. 3/15.

LSAT Multi's
Saturday, September 01 2007 at 08:00 PM

Hey, I scored the LSAT like you did but was averaging 155-158 on practices. I was wondering if when you took it the first 2 times you weren't prepared or if you struggled on the test or what? I am thinking about taking the test again in June or September to get the score I know I am capable of, if this cycle turns out badly for me. If you could let me know your approaches and what happened with you it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Congrats

Congrats on Mercer. Solid school with a beautiful campus. Hope your other choices work out for you. You look solid for St. Louis.

Hey! We got similiar numbers. I'm actually reapplying though and I plan on expanding my search. I'm also looking at St. Louis. What do you think your chances are being pulled off the waitlist?
