Additional info & updates

12-3-08: Sent out 4 apps.

12-4-08: All 4 confirmed received.

12-19-08: Another round of apps out this week. That should do it...now we play the waiting game.

12-20-08: TS1 e-mail received. Pretty sweet. Now the wait for the call...

12-22-08: TS1 call! That was a short wait. I just blabbered his ear off, I don't even remember what I just said. I certainly didn't charm his socks off, but I don't think it went badly, for what it's worth.

1-7-09: TS2!! Got the call in the middle of lunch with a big bite of food in my mouth, so my excitement had to be expressed to Toby amid furious chewing. It figures that after all this nervous waiting it would come at the most unexpected moment. Pretty exciting!

1-13-09: I had some trouble with getting stuff sent out of the dean's office at school, so some of these completes are taking a while. But Yale and Stanford are now complete. Cool beans.

1-28-09: Accepted NYU! Via big purple envelope. They never even told me my app was complete.

1-30-09: Took a while, but Columbia just sent me an e-mail confirming my app is complete. So now everything is complete and the waiting continues...

2-21-09: UM accepted! Yale rejected... both in the mail.

2-23-09: UChicago accepted! by phone.

3-6-09: Big Columbia envelope in the mail!

3-9-09: Waitlisted at UVA?

3-30-09: Rejected at Stanford. For the best I suppose, I wasn't about to pack up for the West Coast anyway.

Congrats on the TS1! I'm sure you'll have a great cycle. Also, under extracurricular info, you left out the fact that you're a tool? Just fyi :)
