10/16 - Had a baby panic attack about not applying to enough safeties so added a few more schools to my list.

10/19 - Submitted my last app! Now begins the waiting game...

10/25 - First acceptance!!! So excited!

11/9 - In at UT via phone call! Package w/scholly info (yay!) should follow shortly...

11/17 - FULL RIDE @ UT!!!!!!! (non-resident)...Game changer??

11/25/11 - In @ Michigan via letter!

12/12/11 - In at Berkeley via e-mail!!!!

12/12/11- In at NYU via ASW!!!!!! First T-6 acceptance = best Monday ever!!!

12/12/11 - In @ UCLA w/scholly via phone call!! This has been quite a day to say the least =)

12/21/11 - In @ Northwestern via e-mail! Hadn't expected to hear anything more from schools until after the new year...very very stoked!! :)

1/9/12 - Held at Harvard this morning (can't say I'm surprised) but trying to remain hopeful...

1/13/12 - In at Chicago via phone call earlier today - beyond words ecstatic!!!!!

1/26/12 - General Update:

-Stuck on USC first committee read 11/21, no movement.

-Had my second UR date at Penn on 1/10 but still haven't heard anything, not really sure how to interpret this.

-Couldn't log into the Columbia ASW via the backdoor access, general consensus seems to be I'm likely headed for a WL/ding

-Still pondering a LOCI to Harvard, but since I obviously don't have new grades and haven't had any significant life updates, I'm not sure I want to risk hurting my application with a superfluous letter...will continue to mull it over this weekend.

-Silence from Stanford.

Don't want to jinx my cycle, but I think it may be that the list as it stands now is quite likely the list from which I'll ultimately be choosing...SEO interview on Saturday, wish me luck!

2/1/12 - In at Penn via phone call, nice to have some good news after so much silence :)

2/2/12 - In at Columbia via VCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never been so happy to be proven wrong in my entire life!!!! =)

2/20/12 - Withdrew from UIUC, which in the moment feels considerably more dramatic than it should...guess its just one tiny baby step closer to actually making a final decision, eek.

3/8/12 - Dean's Scholarship at NYU - $25K my first 2 years and $12,500 for 3L with the option for an additional $15K if I do PI. NYU just jumped back in the game in a major way!!

3/9/12 - JS1 E-mail!!!! Flipping out!!! Guess sending that LOCI was a good decision after all :)

3/10/12 - Received Duke scholarship award in the mail today...wow. Guess I'll be doing a few more withdrawals this week.

4/2/12 - No money from Northwestern which is a little bit shocking, didn't feel like trying to negotiate so accordingly withdrew.

4/4/12 - After an appeal, received an increased financial aid award ($45K initial) from U. Chicago, quite pleased.

4/10/12 - Just got the call from Stanford! Ummm not even sure what to say right now...totally assumed I was not getting in. I...yeah, BEYOND happy!!!!!!

4/16/12 - Many withdrawals; Chicago was probably the hardest as I really liked the school/would have liked a little more time to consider all my options, but that 4-15 deadline forced my hand...oh well, I hate the cold so its probably for the best.

4/27/12 - Withdrew from Duke, probably the hardest one yet all those $$$s [sigh]; waitlisted at Harvard - can't say I didn't see that one coming/a little bummed that they broke my streak but I've had a pretty good run so I can't really complain :)

5/2/12 - Berkeley matching scholarship award offer, wow.
