I was surprised as well. Through the LSAC method, a 79% average in a course is equal to 70%!!! They classify both as a 3.0 which results in a very inaccurate method of summarizing a person's overall GPA. Anyways, good luck with your applications.
No i didnt apply to any Canadian Schools, I missed the deadline, and then looking at my LSAT i didnt think that I would have a change at any schools at home.
For public law schools, the tuition for international students is the same as out-of-state students in the States. For private schools such as FCLS and St. Thomas the tuition is the same for all students. Congratulations, on your acceptance to St. Thomas and FCLS.
Good luck to you in ur applications as well. I am sure that you will have many acceptances. I guess I maybe a URM but I did not state so on my applications. Good luck
As of right now I am going to pick St. Thomas. Even though the area surrounding the school is not the greatest the school itself is very safe. The campus is very nice and I liked the fact that the school is small and known as a student oriented school. I was impressed with the tour I was given, spoke to a few professors and liked what I heard.
Living 10-20 mins away from the campus is comparable to living in toronto. The rents are not that bad. I dont really go on this site anymore so if you have anymore questions lemme know and I' ll give u my email addy
from a fellow canuck. Congrats on your acceptances so far!
Did you apply to any Canadian schools?
