Additional info & updates

My first lsat score sucked and will kill my chances at the type of school I want to go to, at least I managed to pull it up the second time while my second year of college destroyed my gpa. If not for that year and my first lsat I might have a realistic shot at Minnesota

how the hell did i get into g. mason as a fifth year senior who has 2.87 gpa, no real work exp, no legacy, no aff action. damn taking the lsat second time is all that mattered. If Vanderbuilt accepts me it is clear law schools only care about the last two semesters before you applied and your highest lsat. I do feel bad for all the people w/gpa who get screwed but not enough to turn down the oppurtunity to go to a good school

Because I got into George Mason, I'm not going to intend Brooklyn or Oregon unless I get serious aid.

The rejection from Emory came via snail mail on the 17.
Applying to Emory is going to kill me, this was one of my mos expensive schools to apply to as it cost me 70 dollars. I must commend Emory for their fee because it is only 5 dollars less then Harvard's fee. What a waste of fucking money, if Vandy says know the fee won't bother me because I really want to go there, while I never really gave a shit about Emory in the first place. I still hope though this isn't a sign for Illinois and my other top choices

3/16/06 - Indiana got back to me informing me that it will take till April 7 to reach a decision

3/17/06 - I got put on the priorority waitlist for Illinois on the 20 Does anyone know what the odds are of getting off this list.

3/24/06 - Vanderbilt completes file, prepare for rejection

3/31/06 - Minnesota finally completes application. For all that is holy and sacred let me get in

4/4/06 - with know 3 schools accepting me I'll know I'll be able to go to law school and complete my life long dream of having built up six figures worth of debt in a mere 3 years. Just think what I could do at medical school
Good Luck to everyone else

4/4/06 - Put on prior. waitlist at Indiana while put on hold at Maryland. The waitlists are killing me and I am beginning to doubt I'm getting into Wash. or Minn. I hope this turns around.

4/11/06 - Waitlist at Wash. I really thought I had a shot. I;m fucked. Does anyone know when schools like Illinois and wash. let people off waitlist and make decisions. I mean could they make me wait till August. This sucks

05/22/06 - Rejected from Vandy. but do to getting in Minn. the rejection doesn't tick me off as much as the fact that it took them almost three months to make a decision

Looks like I'm echoing your cycle. I was put on the UIUC priority waitlist today as well, and I'm waiting till the 7th for Indiana. I don't think we're getting into Illinois, but good luck on the rest of your apps.
