12/18 Small envelope from MN--reject

1/17 Phone call from Utah for accept! 1/24 received acceptance letter (normal envelope size)

2/7 2nd deferral from Kentucky... they're holding me over AGAIN. I had sent them an additional letter and got an additional LOR. They're holding my file now until early March. Guess, I'm only in if they absolutely can't find anyone else.

3/5 Ouch! Three dings in the mail in one day! Good thing they were places I knew I didn't have a shot at.

3/12 Ding from CU today. Oh well.

3/14 Another deferral from KY. Gah! That one hurts. I really like KY and would consider it over Utah. Now, I have to wait until at least March 28. Just take me.

4/2 W/L at BYU. Will be visiting Utah next week for U of Utah admit students day. So I am going to swing by BYU and see if I can get the skinny on whether anyone eve rgets off of it.

wasnt sure if they first comment i sent went through, but they sent the scholarship info later than the acceptance letter

Well, the rejection letter came today. It was on the Dean's own stationary and had some kind, personal words. To answer you about BYU vs. C-M, I would have prayed about it. This process has ended in a clear answer, C-M is THE place I need to be. Even if I would have been in at BYU it only MIGHT have changed my mind. C-M and the Cleveland area seem to be a perfect fit for me. Good luck and I hope you find your fit! - Cheez
