Thanks dsbw :)
Newark sent an e-mail first, from Anita Walton, the admissions director. Packet arrived about 4 or 5 days later...
My goal is International Law and Human rights....I want to stay in the New York area (maybr washington if george mason comes through), but I am confused on what school to go to....between the choices...seton hall, Newark, Camden, or Brooklyn...any suggestions would be great!!
Did they send the scholarship of their own accord or did you apply for it? Thanks!
no actually, they sent it themselves. I didnt even know I got it because it didnt come with the rest of the acceptance material. It came about a week later I think.
Did you get to visit any of your options? It changed my perspective a great deal. Good luck narrowing down the long list.
Well I chose Camden over Newark mostly for Geographic reasons..its closer to baltimore where I'm from.. but also the school is a little better ranked..I honestly wish I had had the time to visit newark though. Another thing about newark is there is less of a campus community, more students commute from further away. But I did really like alot of newark's clinical programs.
hey. i actually just changed from camden to newark. i want to end up near nyc and i figured i have a better chance to network if i am in the area. also i like the buildings better and the clinical programs. when i visited camden they talked a lot about law journals; i would rather volunteer. i see you chose camden! good luck =)
Good luck to you too--just heard from Newark and Seton Hall in the last few days (good news!), so hopefully you will too...
