Extra Curricular Information

LSATs were taken after an almost two year interval (Oct. 04, June 06). The first time I took I was in school, working two internships, leading an extracurricular activity and writing an honors thesis. Didn't devote the time I needed. I wrote a paragraph addendum with that explanation.

Additional info & updates

Going back to The Heights...CLS 2010!

Since people have asked...
I was headed to Michigan Law (and excited about it!) until I got a call from Dean Iwerebon on 7/5 (that was the first time I had heard from CLS since the original reserve letter in January). I had not written any LOCI. After a brief interview (5-7 mins.), Dean Iwerebon told me that they were considering my application for admission and would let me know by 7/10. On 7/10, I got the emailed acceptance letter in a PDF. After three days of agonizing back and forth pondering (I really loved Michigan), I decided to go back to Alma Mater on the Hudson Shore!

Thanks for your post. I haven't heard from all the schools yet and am waitlisted at a handful, but I am in a predicament. I care a lot about living and eventually working in Chicago. I went to NU and have been working here since graduation. Not only are all of my college friends still here, but my twin sister has since moved here as well. The thought of leaving does not make me happy, yet everyone seems to say to go to MN since it's top 20... Anyway, that's why I've been hoping for a miracle with NU. I know it's not gonna happen, so I may end up going to Loyola and trying to do well and transfer into NU. Or maybe I'll get off some of these waitlists and go somewhere totally new on a whim... Ah we'll see. In any case, good luck in your decision making!

any decisions yet?
