getting into OU. it's a great school.
i was afraid that my comment sounded weird. i meant to say, "best of luck. i hope you get into OU."
they were really nice. you could tell it was hard for her to do. i'm sure youll get in with your numbers. personally i don't think you shot high enough or applied to enough schools...
I found out via a letter in the mail. It was rather scary because it was in a small envelope. I thought I was rejected.
What is your top choice.
how long after the phone call did you receive the letter?
Any idea why you were waitlisted there? With your numbers I would expect a scholsarship. You should think of applying to Miami, you would probably get $16K there. Good luck with the rest of the apps.
How'd you find out about UIUC "hold"?
Definitely not looking forward to checking the mail when I get home today...
I wouldn't go anywhere without my kids. I will have to move either way -- Carbondale is a couple of hours south of me, and it's the closest school on my list. (Well, I'm about halfway between Carbondale and UIUC, but since I'm on Hold at UIUC I don't really consider it a possibility at this point.) My kids have moved from Japan to Iowa to Illinois now, so I'm not that worried about moving them one more time. ;)
