Congrats on everything so far! You're having a great cycle. I'm sure you'll keep it up. Where is your first choice?

Thanks!

michigan

to tell you the truth, i keep going back and forth between michigan and duke. i've been increasingly impressed with what i've heard about michigan so far. hopefully, i'll get into boalt or stanford and it won't even be an issue!

Yale and DOJ

In repsonse to your questions, I didn't apply to Yale because I thought that my chances of admission were entirely too slim. Their's is a very small and elite class, which makes it harder for kids with lower numbers (like mine) to scoot in under the radar with soft factors. I really hope to scoot into HLS, Columbia, or NYU in just that fashion. In terms of the DOJ, I work in the Office of Consumer Litigation. We fight against white collar crime for the FDA, FTC, CPSC, and NHTSA. It's good fun. Where do you work in federal government? Good luck with the rest of the process. You've done really well already.

GU Reception

Yeah, I'll be there. My roommate and I both got in, so we'll check out the downtown campus again. See you there.

Boalt

I have somewhat similar numbers and applied to Boalt at about the same time you did. Do you think it's a bad sign that we haven't heard yet?

congrats on all your kick ass acceptances, number twin. Id KILL to have the results you did at Gtown, Michigan and Penn. Im still waiting. wondering: our numbers are literally identical save for .3 percentage points of a GPA, yet Columbia\\\'s index puts me at 4.2 and you at 4.1 WHAT IS THAT?! good luck

thanks!

Thanks for the Georgetown vote of confidence... I am getting nervous re: Gtown and UMich, btoh places I thought I really stood a decent chance. Penn/NYU would be a dream also. Are you considering Cornell at ALL with your options? I cant get a good read on its reputation in lawschoolland. ~n
