03-25-07 UF said no, but I was leaning towards Iowa anyway...It looks like I will be attending the better school after all. Note on the NCAA Final Four ... Go UCLA ... just kidding.

Congrats to you too man! Even though I requested to start in the Summer, they placed me for Fall. I guess since I was admitted late in the cycle, they had no choice but to admit me for the Fall term. Are you leaning towards Iowa?

Booo!!!!

sorry about UF. they certainly missed out on a great candidate for law school. Like you said, Iowa is a better school anyways. I hope UCLA crushes UF this weekend!

Yeah, I'm from cali, and it's nice to see my alma mater make it to the Final Four. I hope both ucla and gt make it to the finals, even though it's highly unlikely given the strength of ohio and florida. are you living off or on campus? i figure if i do decide to attend iowa, i'd probably live on campus the first year and go from there.

So you were defered from Florida State and they recently contacted you saying that they couldn't offer you admission?

See You There

Good to hear from you. I'm starting in August. I have an apartment lined up that is about a 10 min walk from the law school. I've heard great things about Iowa City.

I'm over it. Besides, Iowa's a great school, and I'm more than happy with the option(s) I have now. Iowa didn't give me a deadline to commit to attending. However, I know I have to make a second deposit by the beginning of June. Are you all set to move? I'm excited for you. Let me know how everything goes!

Re: update

Thanks for the update. I'm happy to hear that you're doing so well over there. Sadly, food is a big part of my life (i'm somewhat of a picky eater), I was afraid that if I were to move to Iowa, I'd not get the same amount of choices that I would here in ca (yeha, we're pretty spoiled here). I'm glad that you somewhat eased my fear of that. Iowa sounds like a great state to live in. I'm really thankful that the gym is close to the law school. It'll allow me to continue the same routine that i've been partaking in for the past 3 years. Have you met the other students yet? If so, are they as cool as you? haha I have one last school in ca to hear from, but I'm pretty much set on Iowa. The only thing that's preventing me from pulling the trigger is the in-state tuition I would get at SCU. If I get in, it would make my decision somewhat difficult. Sorry for rambling on and on. I know school is starting for you soon but if you get a chance, update me again on your progress. Good luck!
