Additional info & updates

12.16.10 As of now I'm on "hold" at BC and got deferred at Northeastern to the regular pool. I'm pretty disappointed about Northeastern but the more I think about them the less I like them. I have just emailed the dean of Suffolk asking about $$ which I've read really helps. I'm thinking with a big scholarship from Suffolk I'd feel happy going there and it'd be a good fit for me. Somehow I naively believed that if I got all my apps in in september I'd have all my decisions back by christmas. Ughh I was so wrong!!

1.5.11 After sending Suffolk like 20 emails back and forth with Finacial Aid and Dean Ellis I finally got my 35k per year scholarship yayyy! IMHO full scholly at suffolk trumps sticker at Northeastern/BC/BU (assuming I could even get into any of those schools) so I'm definitely going there. So happy to be done stressing about where I'm gonna be next year. Anyone else for sure going to suffolk out there?? If you want a scholarship at suffolk check your numbers to see if you qualify based on old applicants and keep emailing them and they will give you one, they just want you to beg a little! WOOO

3.29 Got my financial aid packet from Suffolk and my scholarship was bumped up from 35k per year to full. Yay! Looks like I'm definitely attending in the fall.

Hey how did you hear from Suffolk? I applied there a couple months ago and I haven't heard a thing from them!

Hey. It was/is great. It's in a great location in Boston, where there's always something to do. The law school building is old, but I've been told that the students love it. NU is also one of my top choices (the dual degree program with Vermont), good luck with your cycle!

Congrats on UNH, have you been up to their campus yet? I really havent heard much about these guys other than their IP program.

yeah, NULS is taking a minute or two with their cycle. Every time I see they release acceptances a part of me cries a little :( Ours will be in the mail soon

Hey, so are you certain you're going to Suffolk this fall? That must be a relief if you are! Will you be attending the admitted students cocktail reception this friday?

Looks like Dean Ellis had a generous week, I emailed her back in January too, went from $0 to $25k/yr. Still in touch with her for more, but I submitted deposit today, hello classmate.
