Cardozo seems to be really slow about getting back to people. I know we both applied late, but still. I can't wait for them. What school are you leaning towards??

I really liked the law school a lot. It felt like a real law school as compared to Hofstra which felt more like an undergrad to me. The building has everything you need in it so you really never need to leave. If you stop in to the admissions office and speak with someone I'm sure it will increase your chances of getting off the waitlist. Good luck!!

There are many things that made my decision. One, they have a great international law program...you can study abroad for a semster. Two, they have great externships and help place you. Three, great reputation. Four, great location. Five, great open door policy with the professors. Six, small classes. Seven, known for their moot court. As you can tell, I really fell in love there. I recommend paying a visit or maybe going to their admitted student event on April 22. I am really happy to answer any questions you have. Good luck on your decision. In the end, only you know whats best!

hey, yes i just sent in my deposit to pace! i went and visited all three and preferred pace by a long shot. hofstra didnt impress me much, the area around the campus was really sketchy, and their study abroad programs for the semester are pretty limited, so i guess it depends what kind of law you are interested in. Im intered in international law and immigration law and pace really impressed me with their itnernational program and clinics, not to mention the campus is beautiful, and still NYC is very close. i guess NYLS jsut turned me off becuase of the cost and im not sure if i could afford living in NYC. I think competition with other NYC schools would be tough for jobs and internships and pace could place you in white plains and the surrounding area. everyone was really nice too! well all that being said, it was really hard for me to decide, especially between hofstra and pace, i know that hofstra is ranked a little better, but i dont think that it is enough to make a difference. *im also praying to come off the waitlist for cardozo haha* what about you? which way are you leaning??? i guess a lot of it comes down to what your most interested in and who offers better programs for you, the ranking between them is so insignificant its hard to base a decision on that alone. -kelly

hey! congrats to you as well! i'm leaning toward seton hall-- i really want to go to an urban school, but i visited syracuse & hofstra and liked them both. the $$ is great but i would save so much living at home (which i would going to seton hall). what about you, have any idea??

i sent my deposit to seton hall yesterday!! the only thing that would affect that would be an acceptance from rutgers. but it's not TOO much of a change for me, i'll still be living at home, school in newark. i left my email for you in case you wanted it! congrats to you, classmate! haha
