Ole Miss

I will more than likely end up at Pepperdine or SMU, but I wouldn't mind ending up at Ole Miss. I know several people who went there for undergrad and they all loved it. Good luck with your apps.

You still should have applied b/c you never know what might have happened. As for MC they just sent me a standard letter via snail mail. Hand written note by the dean though so that was cool. No scholarship offers for any school i have gotten into :( Good luck with your apps...hopefully you will hear something soon.

In regards to your comment about Kaplan, I did do all the work that the course required. As for the games, my problem was never figuring the games out, it was more a time management problem. If I had all the time in the world I would get a 100% on the games. I took many practice exams but it still did not help. I then even hired a tutor but that did not help at all either. I'm just frustrated with the whole LSAT test as a whole because if it were not for this stupid test I could get into any Law School I wanted. Now because of my poor score I am severely limited.

Congrats

on Ole Miss.. what was the decision letter dated? I'm still waiting to hear. Is that your first choice? I'm hopin' to be in Oxford next year.

Thanks

for the info. Hopefully I will hear soon. I applied in September, went complete after the Oct. LSAT, so it's been a long wait. I am thinking I will withdraw from LSU pretty soon. I applied originally because I thought I might come back to Houston and a lot of Houston firms recruit there. Thanks again for the info and suggestions. Maybe I'll see you in Oxford next year. Whats up man, Im graduating Ole Miss this year too...probably know you this place is so small. I can't decide if I want to do Ole Miss, UF, LSU...waiting on SMU - what are you leaning towards..should have applied to UF, we have similar numbers -Bart

Sure did, would have been informative if I had not been living in Oxford the past 4 years. Went over things such as housing, life in oxford, things like that. Student discussion board was interesting to here though. In my opinion, both AL and Ole Miss are great schools. It would be hard turning AL down, especially if thats where you want to be. Good luck man, ttyl

It's difficult to say... I think I would have had a pretty good chance if I had applied earlier, but I applied late so I'm a little less hopeful. I'm pretty sure I'm going to FSU; even if I got an acceptance from UA, I would probably favor FSU just because of the location.

I heard from Bama in February, a month after I applied. I found out by checking online, followed by an email and a packet in the mail. Good luck; I hope you hear from them soon.
