Really bad standardized test taker!!!!

Its sucks that you can work so hard for 4 years and it doesnt matter at all if you dont do well on 1 single test that you cant really study for anyway. I studied for over 6 months and didn't improve at all. I took a Kaplan course and paid for a tutor. All were a waste of money, as my score barely increased. NO FAIR!!!!

the LSAT either. I took two prep classes and studied for a year. My final score is the best I ever got and I refuse to take it again. Best of luck!! You'll do great!

Good luck

Hey, we have almost identical numbers and we are applying to mostly the same schools. I know how you feel about the LSATs...Good luck. You will get in somewhere.

The problem is not whether I'll get in somewhere, I know I'll get into at least one of the schools I've applied to, my issue is that I only want to go to my top 2-3 school preferences. If I dont get in this round, I'll retake the stupid LSAT again (and somehow figure out how to ace the exam eventhough up till now I have not figured it out) and I'll apply next year. I really hope this does not happen but its looking more and more like I'll be taking the year off, retaking the LSAT and applying next year. I hate this!!!

I would suggest applying to some better schools despite your lower LSAT score. Though I am in the same boat as you, I really think that some schools can see through that single number and it is worth the application fee to find out. good luck.

LSAT Can Blow Me

I just took the LSAT in February...felt great walking out of the building....but we'll see....but even LSAC tries to urge schools not to rely on it so much

Kaplan

Kaplan is horrible. It did nothing for me. Kaplan helps people if you need help with games, but their ways aren't even the best ways of doing things. I got a perfect score on games, and did it without Kaplan. they give you easier tests and teach you methods that only work for the easier ?s, I wish someone told me not to take them. I hear ya! I'm sorry your experience with them was poor. good luck to you!!!!!! Congrats on Hofstra!!!

Congrats. We have very similar numbers. I'm leaning towards Hofstra. How about you?
