2-5-07 Small acceptance envelope from John Marshall with $20,000/year scholarship- really fast turnaround. Big envelope from Loyola notifying me I'm waitlisted.

2-7-07 Phone call from DePaul- I'm in!! $8k/year scholarship.

2-9-07 Big acceptance envelope from DePaul and a package. I've decided to withdraw from Loyola since I would go to DePaul before Loyola.

2-19-07 Had an interview with the asst. dean of admissions at UIUC today and toured the law school.

3-10-07 Attended the accepted students day at DePaul and really liked the school.

4-5-07 Email from Kent saying my application has been deferred.

4-19-07 Email from JM informing me that they increased my scholarship offer

4-24-07 Found out I am waitlisted at UIUC through email

05-24-07 Acceptance email from Kent with a $10k scholarship!

05-30-07 Phone call from UIUC offering me admission!!

At UIUC I was deferred, so when I asked what I could do to help strengthen my application, admissions suggested an interview because I'm local. That isn't a normal part of the application process.
