i missed the deadline at W&L-somehow got it mixed up. i found out about the WVU in a weird way, i havent gotten anything in the mail yet, just an email that directed me to a webpage for paying a seat deposit. The initial email wasn\\\'t a congratulations or anything, I thought it was a mistake at first :) Good luck!
wow, that is strange. I realy like W&L, would be my first choice if I thought I had a chance! lol. And WVU made a quick decision on you, so I am hoping for the same! Good luck to you the rest of the way.....
Hey - you should consider applying to Liberty Univ. in Lynchburg. I did (they aren't on the list here) they just got prov. accredidation. I also was offered $15,000 a year there. However, I think WVU will offer better job prospects...

I want to go to WVU, but the out of state tuition puts me in a bind. I have a good scholarship at Liberty, but they are new...I don't know. I'm going to the WVY luncheon on the 8th. You?

Actually, I heard them one month to the day from when I applied. And yes I have been out of college for 20 years, and that time was filled with a ton of EC's and work experience. Not sure that had anything to do with them, certainly has for some. Just not sure. I felt the same about my alma mater WVU as you do about Widener. Had no idea what was taking so long.
so i got my widener acceptance today but i didnt reiceve any money. i dont get it. Did you get a letter with your acceptance about scholarships money?
