Additional info & updates

Couldn't be happier with the way this went! ED saved me a lot of energy and stress. You can't beat a 3 week cycle.

Included a diversity statement about family background, personal statement about travel (despite what Anna Ivey said in her book), & 2 page resume (again, against Ivey's advice).

Visited Columbia beforehand and sat in on a class or two and asked a recommender to briefly mention it in a LOR.

Very, very happy.

I was excited to see that no one beat me to the SN.

Looks like you are the first one on here to post a decision from Columbia. How did they notify you?

Thanks!
