Predictions:
Rejected by Boalt (R) and NYU.
USC, Georgetown (WL), UCLA (A), UT (A) are my "realistic" targets: 2 waitlists/rejections, and 2 admits
UC Hastings (A), U Colorado, and Lewis & Clark (WL) will accept me, at least one of them will offer significant money

UPDATES:
3/10/08 In at Texas via email. Very excited! Hoping for a scholarship (or at least in state tuition).

3/11/08 Called Georgetown to find out where my decision was (it has been 2 weeks since I saw that I went to decision on their status checker) they informed me that they mailed it on 2/25. I can't log in to the admitted students site so I know that it is either a WL or a rejection.

03/17/08 Priority waitlist at Gtwon. I'm relatively pleased considering the alternatives.

03/20/08 $$ at UT. Not quite quite enough to make up for the fact that I'm out of state, but great nonetheless. Assuming my summers are a wash, this would mean ~$110K of debt upon graduation. I'm now picking Texas to win my NCAA bracket. Hook 'em horns!

03/22/08 I got rejected at Berkeley. Completely expected but it hurts nonetheless.

03/31/08 Received need based grant of 7,000/year from Hastings in addition to my merit scholarship. It keeps them in the running but with SF's high COL debt on graduation is still near that for Texas.

04/07/08 Received notification of WL at Lewis and Clark. Thanks guys.

04/17/08 In at UCLA! Ecstatic about this one. I'm headed out to check out UT tonight, and I'll be looking at UCLA in the near future. I'm really grateful and excited to have such great options (oh and hang in there Hastings, we could still make beautiful music together).

04/28/08 I'm going to UCLA. I loved the campus, was very impressed with their environmental law clinic, and they came through with in-state tuition and a $20K scholarship (all for 1L!) Very happy about it and so glad this process is over.

Hey, Congrats on UCLA. Read your profile and it sounds like you may have applied to the public interest program at UCLA. Would love to chat about your visit and the program. I'm planning on attending as well, but from DC. Looking forward to hearing from you.
