LSAT explanation (in case you were wondering): the 155 was just a fluke, I should have cancelled...obviously, but I didn't. It was 8 pts lower than my diagnostic. My timed practice average was 167-168, so I was ok with my 165 on the Dec. test

1/18/08-My first acceptance! W&M was so quick, I only got the e-mail that I was complete two days ago! Included was a scholarship offer for $15,000 a year provided I maintain a 2.5 gpa

1/25/08-Finally complete at Ohio State!

1/30/08-Second acceptance! Wake Forest!

1/31/08-Third acceptance! George Mason via phone...actually, I technically got accepted yesterday, but I didn't see that I missed a call and had a voice message until today, but yay I got in!

2/1/08- Full tuition scholarship at IU-B, super excited...but they say I have to tell them if I'm going to attend by April 1st! Several of the schools I'm applying to have ASWs after that date and I really want to visit all of them before I make my decision... *since everyone's wondering: i was notified via priority mail package, and the scholarship info was in the acceptance letter...hth!*

2/12/08-Finally complete at Emory...so glad. It's been almost a month and a half!

2/15/08- Accepted at Emory via phone call! Well, it took forever to go complete, but they definitely made up for it by accepting me so quickly! I can't wait to go visit :-)

2/16/08-Ouch. Provisional List at Notre Dame :-(

2/18/08-Status checker changed to "decision" at OSU...I'll find out soon...

2/19/08-Accepted to OSU! I got my scholarship e-mail before my acceptance e-mail, so that was interesting. I got one of the Moritz Leadership Scholarships for $10,000/yr...I'm kind of disappointed about that, I was really hoping for more.

3/3/08-Scholarship notification-small white envelope from George Mason: 15,000 my first year, renewable for 10,000 2nd and 3rd year if I'm in the top 25% of my class...all in all, not a great offer

3/6/08-In complete shock. 32K a year from Emory only contingent on remaining in good academic standing ! I am thrilled!

3/27/08-Yikes, decision at Vanderbilt! My guess is waitlist, but it could definitely be my first rejection as well. I would be so excited to get in though...I love Vanderbilt...we'll see, I guess.

3/31/08-Waitlisted at Vandy. Not surpised at all. Cycle is officially over!

Congrats to you as well! I was wondering about the 3.2 requirement too b/c every place is different. Oh well, it is definitely up there on my list. Looks like we applied to a couple of the same places (although you already got into W&M!). Good luck to you the rest of the way.

Congrats on Wake and all of your other acceptances!! To answer your question about the scholarship, I got an email from them, then a letter in the mail. I have to accept it by April 15. I do know that some of the other people who got scholarships have already withdrawn their applications so there are more to award. You have great stats and I will keep my fingers crossed for you!
