I'd say clear and convincing evidence... but not beyond a reasonable doubt :)

Whoa! Sweet pick-up on BU! Our numbers are pretty close, except that you do have a hundredth of a point on the gpa on me. I wish you the best, wherever you decide to go after the cycle is over.

Well, BU is my first choice for Boston a

So, I got nailed by BC. No love over there. I really hope that things work out for me the same way that they did for you as far as BU is concerned.

I only heard about the money because I was following up on my financial aid forms (which I haven't received yet). They told me over the phone. I know that their scholarships are merit/need based, and I definitely fall into the "needy" category. It seems like they give out a lot in general. As far as soft factors, I have three years work experience in the legal field doing something mostly unique.

I totally get where you are coming from with wanting to hear from schools; that's actually why I finally sent in a letter of continued interest to MN. It was really brief, and I just stated that I have an interest in health law and that, because of that interest, MN was highly appealing to me. It was nothing particularly special, but apparently it was effective. I emailed it to MN admissions on Thursday of last week (3/22) and received a phone call and email from them yesterday (3/26). They seem to be deferring a lot of people with index numbers similar to ours, but it seems like they're eventually accepting those that don't withdraw. Good luck!

I just noticed that you've been accepted at BU, which is one of about 3 schools that I'm strongly considering right now. I haven't had, nor will I have, a chance to visit BU. Have you gone to Boston to check them out? If so, I'd value your first-hand account of your impression of BU.

Thanks!

You nailed it with your guess about which schools I am considering. I've heard pretty much exactly what you said about BU; definitely not an ideal campus for undergrad, but sounds great for law school. I will, unfortunately, be unable to visit any of the schools that I'm still considering, so I would definitely appreciate your opinion of UMN and Minneapolis.

They waitlisted me. I guess that you must have had a pretty solif application outside of your numbers. Best of luck in your final decision.

Hey, It looks like you are waiting to hear from MN too. What do you think our chances are? We have the same LSAT and simmilar GPA, although yours is better! I'm from MN and would love if it works out. Any thoughts?

Haha... yeah, that would be me. They were definitely in Boston last weekend while I was visiting OSU. Random. :-) I assume from your profile that you were also visiting BU but didn't like it? Where are you leaning now?

Nope. I'm leaning toward OSU right now after visiting, but all the people telling me to go to W&L still might sway me. I'm also staying on the Wash U and GW wait lists and would consider them if admitted.
