Additional info & updates

11.24.09 - Just logged into the Michigan Law admitted students website. I don't want to jump the gun here, but I'm pretty sure my life just got awesome. MICHIGAN 2013!!!

11.22.09 - Long time, no update. The lack of news from any schools is starting to get to me. Thankfully the next couple weeks seem to be when a lot of decisions have gone out for the schools in which I'm most interested during prior cycles. Considering applying to some lower schools just for some guarantee of getting in somewhere, haha. Best of luck to all!

07.03.09 - Applying to a wide range of top schools. I know my numbers alone won't get me into many of them, but hopefully my softs, personal statement and other considerations will merit a closer look. I wish everyone success in their cycle, and in all other endeavours. :)

Good luck with the LSAT prep! Looks like you\'re on top of everything.

Consistency
Friday, September 28 2007 at 08:00 PM

I have found that my fluctuation in my scores depends a lot on my mood and my state of mind. When I took the June test, I was really out of it and lots of bad things were going on in my life. But I'm making sure that October won't be that way. Minimal distractions. So, try to keep your focus! It's coming up fast!

For a boost of confidence, my first test was a solid 154... Starting prep in March and I finished with a 172 by the June test... You'll do awesome...

Done!

And I'm out. What a relief. I feel pretty good about this one. How did it go for you?

Same Boat

Hey- We have relatively similar numbers, and we're both applying to the 09 cycle...I figured I would drop you a line and say hello. After reading your commentary, I have to admit we are in the same boat. I was extremely disappointed with my score (was averaging a 168)...I studied like a mad woman for all of fall before taking my Feb test...I just cant see myself going through the pain again but I am not happy with my score. We're looking at a lot of the same schools- what do you think? And what test do you think you'll take (June or Oct?)

don't be too pessimistic

you have a great GPA, and sure your lsat is low for some of the schools on your list, but they're also the schools that might make an exception precisely because of your GPA. if i were an adcomm, i'd admit you; your background + your grades show excellent potential IMO.
