Late Feb- Withdrew from William and Mary and Washington University. Hope this helps everyone still waiting at those schools. I will withdraw from several more in the coming weeks. Hope this helps everyone still awaiting a decision from these schools.

Early March- I am so happy with how the cycle has gone thus far. I have really been incredibly blessed. I gotta admit, though, I am still holding out hope and praying for Stanford, Harvard, or Yale... :-) But either way, I've been very lucky so far and I can't wait to get all my financial offers, visit and make a decision!

Mid March- Notified I will not receive scholarship money from Chicago. Will withdraw.

3/21- Withdrew from Texas, UCLA, Vanderbilt, and Chicago. I am slowly narrowing down my choices.... dying to hear back from Stanford(!!!), Harvard, and Yale. Also nominated for a Wilson Scholarship at UPenn (half tuition). Yay.

4/2- Awarded Wilson Scholarship at Penn!

4/3- No matching funds from Berkeley, it appears. Now I just need to hear back from Columbia on financial aid...

4/4- Visited Berkeley. Loved the campus and area, but I can't justify attending Berkeley over Columbia without some kind of financial aid.

4/14- No money from Columbia. Nevertheless, I decided I will be attending Columbia barring a significant financial aid offer from Berkeley or an offer of admission from Stanford, Harvard, or Yale. I withdrew from Virginia and Duke. They made great scholarship offers, but I decided Berkeley or Columbia is best for me!

4/15- No financial aid from Berkeley. With two weeks until deposit deadlines, it looks more and more like I'm gonna be a member of CLS '11. I'll wait until May 1 for decisions from Stanford, Harvard, and Yale before putting down my deposit. I'll wait a little longer to see if I get a matching award at Berkeley in the second round of scholarships.

4/15- Rejected by Yale via email. Totally expected.

4/16- I was told that Stanford is only sending out waitlists and rejections from today onward. Also, Dean Stock's blog says remaining Harvard applicants like myself are going to be either waitlisted or rejected. As of now, I plan on attending Columbia! I will definitely stay on any waitlists that come from Harvard and Stanford, but until I hear otherwise, I am officially a member of CLS 2011. I will be sending in my deposit shortly.

4/17- Rejected from Harvard. Was hoping for a waitlist since I have been in limbo for so long, but I am happy to have closure.

4/19- Waitlisted at Stanford. I am going to stay on the waitlist until the end. Stanford was my top choice going into the admissions process, and it was a dream school from day one. If I somehow get off the waitlist at Stanford, I will absolutely attend. Until then, I will put down my deposit at Columbia. Now time for a long, long summer.

6/14- I bought my plane ticket, put down a housing deposit, and set up moving plans. It looks like I will be attending Columbia!!
